Broadcasting music inspired by folklore at the Latvia’s Radio

This is a collaboration between the Archives of Latvian Folklore and Latvia’s national public-service radio. Starting on September 20, for a week the daily culture program “Kultūras Rondo” is broadcasting songs from various styles and genres which contain references to Latvian folklore. The songs have been selected and commented on by the Archives of Latvian Folklore which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year.
