Karina Clavijo & La Diversa: A Musical Journey Through Afro-Ecuadorian Rhythms
The evening’s main act is the talented Ecuadorian group Karina Clavijo & La Diversa, consisting of four female musicians who bring Afro-Ecuadorian traditions to life. Their music combines traditional rhythms with modern elements, creating a unique musical experience that is both energetic and emotional. The group is known for its ability to blend cultural roots with contemporary sounds, delivering a concert that takes the audience on a captivating journey through Ecuador’s musical landscape.
Mexidansk Ballet Folklórico: A Colorful Mexican Dance Performance
The evening becomes even more vibrant with a performance by Mexidansk Ballet Folklórico, a Mexican dance group that presents traditional dances from Mexico. The Sonamos Latinoamérica festival has presented over 100 musicians from 14 different countries over the past seven years, and this concert marks the start of yet another celebration of Latin America’s musical diversity.
